A Sonamy Fanfic

As Knuckles and Tails rushed off to find Shadow for the big match-up, Sonic immediately approached Amy.

"Amy, there's something I have to tell you." Sonic said. "What is it, Sonic?" Amy replied while blushing.

Sonic then said, "Amy, you and I have known each other for years, and I just now realized, how much I've broken your heart everytime I've run away from you. I now realize that you are more than just another friend of mine."

"What are you trying to say, Sonic?" Amy said blushing even more.

Sonic blushing while saying "What I'm trying to say is, ...I...I,"

"Yes?"

He finally found the courage to say, "I LOVE YOU AMY ROSE!!!"

Amy had finally heard the words she has waited to hear from her blue hedgehog, and not surprising, she was automatically flushed with excitement and joy.

"Oh Sonic, I love you too!!!" Amy exclaimed as she then ran and hugged Sonic. He then returned the hug, knowing he had finally let his his real emotions of for the one that chased him for so long out.

Breaking the silence, Sonic then said, "Amy, I'm so glad to tell you how I feel, but I want to let you know something else."

"What is it?", Amy asked with a concerned look on her face.

"I do love you, but as long as there is evil like Eggman out there terrorizing the world constantly, I need to be there to stop him. And I don't want you or anybody else I care about getting hurt in the process."

"Why didn't you tell me this before?", Amy wondered.

"Because I was shy, that's why I ran away from you over and over again. But then I realized the more I do that, the more I keep breaking your heart, and I don't want to do that anymore. I love you too much to do that to you." As Sonic finished his sentence, he noticed Amy started to cry. But they were not tears of sadness rolling down her cheek, they were tears of joy. She was happy to know how Sonic really felt about her.

"I understand Sonic, *sniff* I'm just glad that you really love me like I love you." Amy said.

"Same here." All of a sudden, Sonic and Amy were looking at each other eye to eye, and after a few seconds, their lips touched. After a while, Sonic pulled Amy in to deepin the kiss. It was the the most happiest moment in both of their lives. After five seconds, their lips parted and they looked at each other.

"I love you Sonic."

"I love you too Amy."

They both shared a smile and hugged again. Just then, a ring came out. It was Sonic cell phone. He pulled it out of his quills and saw Knuckles was calling him.

"Yeah Knux, what is it"

Knuckles replied, "Sonic, meet us at Daniel's place. Shadow agreed to be apart of the team."

"Okay." Sonic then hung up the phone and then looked at Amy. "How about a ride back." ^_^

"*giggle* Alright." Amy climbed on Sonic and away they went. As he ran, Sonic told Amy, "In this battle, I want to be careful and watch what happens, okay Amy?"

"Okay, Sonikku." Amy answered. Now that they knew exactly how they felt about each other, they ran to what they feel will be the biggest battle ever.
